We are excited to update our beautiful partnership with www.adfreegames.com in our ongoing pursuit of wholesome family gaming.
Our mission began after years of video gaming. The first system we had as a family was a Coleco Entertainment System in the early 1980s. Being a lover of art and design, I’ve played them all, particularly interested in the imagery, cinematography, and storylines. When I became a Christian and submitted to 1.5 years of biblical counseling, I had to renounce years of learning demonology, eclectic idealisms, religions, sensuality, and more at 24 years old. My elders, of my new Christian education, starting in 2004, allowed me to begin as educators in a church setting for students from Pre-K to 12th grade. In that setting, as a recent college grad with honors, you have to be so empathetic to the younger generations as a leader. With the changing trends of gaming, PVP, and imagery that loosens the imagination from firm affirmations in family and wholesome values, as an older brother, it is robbery to allow it to be.
As a parent, I can carry a like burden. What can you do with a 48-hour workload sometimes? Not even enough to rest, and you're trying to find entertainment so you can wash bottles, clean the bathroom, drive to the store, or sit in a church service where they've lost interest? In our 5-bedroom home, for the Basic Blast package for Comcast and Internet in 3 bedrooms ran me more than $250 a month. That's not including gaming costs. For most households, the purchase of a gaming system can start at $100 for the initial purchase, with subscription fees often exceeding $50 per month (including internet usage).
In modern media, there's an influx of games with eclectic inspirations drawn from religion, history, fantasy, and biased creativity. The amount of entertainment available can and often does conflict with family values, creating challenges for families. For example, horror films. Certain imagery accepted in games allows us to be accomplices or passive to imagery that causes fear or hurts someone. We took a mission to develop a solution as a family-friendly and wholesome alternative for all ages.
This partnership brings a content-aware filter designed to block games with harmful content, including sorcery, sensuality, suggestive clothing, theft, violence, witchcraft, and fighting. With respect for each individual home, we ask that you try it at $10/year.
We seek creative solutions that work on motor, logic, and cognitive gaming without simulations that mold them more than our physical impacts in the home as parents, teachers, and caretakers. Though being faith-based at our foundation, we pray this solution finds welcome as an alternative in public schools and supports diversity, healthy thinking, healthy activity, and careers that have foundations with mentally sound applicants.
This filter is part of our Activity Hub*
In addition to this, we are illustrators and graphic designers of a faith-based library of visual communication assets rooted in scripture. https://photos.app.goo.gl/mHKpVExCRGU2Bxni8History
Our journey began in 2005 with the digital painting “Birth”, created under our original company name, Realistic Imaginations, which we started in 2001 at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. We gained international awareness through Flickr (over 100,000 views) and Zazzle (with international sales.) Up until 2009. We rebuilt the website using WordPress, transitioning from initial HTML pages to something more user-friendly. OurVision was birthed from Realistic Imaginations as a way to support our living expenses and pay our taxes with integrity, while upholding our devotion to Christ by providing faith-based media for all ages (Matt 6:11).

If you check our journey, you will also see how certain revelations have evolved, such as those surrounding the Armor of God and Spiritual Warfare. The more we learned about Christ (Acts 1:1), our understanding transitioned from viewing warfare as something external and outside of civil means, to embracing priest-like behavior (partakers of His divine nature). We began to represent the Armor of God as light from heaven. Though we cannot physically see it, the visual representation would be akin to "wearing white," like the robes of the great multitude before the throne, with palms in their hands. (Rev 7:9) We have grown to the resurrection life where representation of warfare or armor is love, peace, patience, kindness, godliness and more (Col 3:12)
A solution to entertainment on the go is the Activity Hub. Many of us while at public places, venues, services, and or driving are looking for creative ways for entertainment for all ages. Our activity hub hosts downloadable information for print, online and fellowship options.
