The Apostle Paul penned the Letter to the Philippians around 62 AD. When you visualize the prison cell in Rome where he was held (possibly), it's amazing to consider how the Lord brought forth such beautiful encouragement, revelation, and exhortation from a servant suffering under these conditions. Think of the places men like Paul, Peter, and Joseph were in—they had nothing but God and love for all people. This was foundational to the development of the canon and the inspiration behind all Scripture, which is God.
Shall our houses look better than the House of God?" (Hag 1:4). This calls us to align worship and zealousness, dedicating our talents to God's Kingdom. With clarity of purpose, this page will offer biblical support to clarify our mission. May we have a support service to help in any time of need.
Dear Elder,
Did you know that Moses and the Israelites constructed the Tabernacle—the first portable sanctuary for God—using materials they acquired during their exodus from Egypt? This act of worship and dedication is detailed in Exodus 26 and Genesis 15.
King Solomon, with God's provision, oversaw a massive workforce during the construction of the First Temple in Jerusalem. The Bible tells us that he conscripted laborers from among the Israelites, and these workers served in rotating shifts, with 30,000 men serving for one month out of every three. This means that approximately 10,000 men were involved in the construction at any given time. While the exact total number of laborers involved isn't specified, it's clear that Solomon mobilized a significant workforce for this monumental project.
Not only was the Apostle Paul called to witness to the Gentiles, but his ministry extended beyond that to include preaching in synagogues, though he often faced opposition there. He likely interacted with people in marketplaces as part of his daily life and evangelism. To support himself, Paul worked as a tentmaker, ensuring he wasn't a financial burden to the churches he was establishing. During his travels, he sometimes stayed in rented homes, which he likely used to teach and disciple believers.
We’re thrilled to introduce OurVision's Proverbs Social Media Kit, a FREE resource designed to help individuals to churches engage through powerful visuals covering each chapter of Proverbs. Customize it to your own desired topic of study.
One of the most important areas of outreach can be the slide area. Like Paul had to project his voice in certain amphitheaters, we need intuitive visual assistance to reach all our audiences.
For our faith-based media, we are developers of visual communication that engages, retains interests, and is toward clear gospel out-reaching. We desire to point all our given spiritual directions, apply OurVision's mission and callings, to deliverables that exemplify the House of God.
Following Christ is awesome! Just as much as God can allow us to succeed, He can will enable us to fail while following Jesus to show us our pride, arrogance, and how strong our flesh is (John 15:5). In light of your failure, observing Christ's glory, you can always ask for His strength, and God will give it (John 14:13-14).
