 Bleed refers to the portion of your design that extends beyond the final trim size of your printed piece.

It's crucial because printing and trimming processes aren't perfectly precise. By extending your design past the trim line, you ensure that no white edges appear when the product is cut. 

The safe text area is the space within the trim lines where all critical elements (text, logos, important images) should be placed.

This prevents them from being trimmed off during the cutting process.
